A native of Southern California, I have been making photographs professionally for many years. I now work out of North San Diego County and specialize in environmental portraiture.

I love the temporal aspect of photography - the idea that each moment of capture is entirely unique. A person's expression will never look exactly the same again. That knowledge makes the process of portrait photography fascinating and precious to me.

I see my portrait work with people as a way of honoring each person's individuality.
